Matt Hardy has cleared up all questions about his wrestling future by confirming that The Hardy Boyz are already locked into new contracts with TNA Wrestling. The update comes as the company prepares for its national television expansion on AMC Networks in January 2026. Hardy shared the news directly with fans, ending weeks of speculation about short-term deals.
In a post on X, Matt Hardy responded to questions about his and Jeff Hardy’s status. He confirmed that the agreement had been in place “for a while.” He added the clarification while sharing an interview clip discussing the brothers’ bond and their value to TNA’s business. He thanked interviewer Mike Gilbert, then casually noted they had already re-signed. The confirmation arrives just weeks before TNA’s AMC debut on January 15, 2026.
“This chat was a fun dive into myself & @JEFFHARDYBRAND’s brotherly relationship as well as a discussion about the Hardys’ effect on @ThisIsTNA’s business at 44:40.. Thanks for a very compelling combo, @MikeGilbert311. BTW, we’ve been re-signed for a while. Merry Christmas, guys!”
The announcement also debunks earlier reporting that suggested the Hardys were working under rolling or three-month arrangements. On-screen, the move makes sense. The duo is in their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions, passing 150 days. The confirmation also sets the tone heading into Hard To Kill on January 10, 2026, in Las Vegas. With contracts settled, The Hardy Boyz remain central figures as TNA steps into its AMC era.
