Update On The Hardys’ Contract Status With TNA Wrestling

As noted recently, TNA Wrestling has signed talents like AJ Francis, Zachary Wentz, and Steve Maclin to three-month contracts. However, this doesn’t include current TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy, according to Fightful Select.

The website cited TNA sources who claimed that The Hardys have yet to sign a deal with the company. However, both parties are expected to come to terms on a deal, with TNA sources claiming that the company is looking to offer a long-term deal to the legendary tag team.

TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva took to X this past October and wrote that the company is looking forward to working with The Hardys for a long time. Fightful cited one TNA source as claiming that Matt and Jeff hadn’t signed a deal when the tweet was posted by Silva, and they haven’t signed as of this week. However, they are expected to do so within the next few weeks. The report also noted that The Hardys are the highest-paid talents on the roster.

Jeff and Matt Hardy are currently in their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions. They won the belts in a four-way Ladder Match at Slammiversary this past July. The legendary duo is set to be a major attraction when TNA iMPACT! debuts on AMC Networks on January 15, 2026.
