The Hardys are closer to the end of their careers than the beginning, and they recently revealed their hopes for how they’ll be remembered. The brothers have 34 year careers that have stretched through WWE, TNA, AEW and more, having helped revolutionize tag team wrestling particularly in their WWE days.
During an interview with KVIA ABC-7 before Final Resolution, The Hardys were asked about their legacies as performers. You can see highlights below:
Matt On What He Hopes Their Legacy Is:
“I think I would like our legacy to be remembered as two of the most passionate guys ever in the business. Two guys who really, on top of entertaining fans and touching so many people, guys who put smiles on faces, happiness and hearts. Guys who also really legitimately wanted to give back to the business and help make the business a better place. You know, a lot of people say that like, ‘I want to go enter the business,’ in whatever their field may be in life, ‘and leave it better than when I found it. And I think that is very important to both of us.”
Jeff On His Legacy:
“I would like to be I’d like to be remembered as one of the most authentic human beings to ever do it. And also, the wrestler that had the best autograph ever. So I hope that stands the test of time.”
