A new report has a bit of an update on rumors that Road Dogg has been discussed for a role on TNA’s creative team. It was reported earlier this week that Road Dogg was discussed as a possible replacement for Tommy Dreamer, who was released from the company on Wednesday.
According to Fightful Select in their latest Debunkathon report, it was confirmed a second time that Road Dogg has been discussed for a creative role in the company. Some top names from the company’s past said that they believed he would run TNA’s creative quite well.
It had been separately reported earlier today that Road Dogg had been in talks with TNA for some time. Delirious, aka Hunter Johnston, is believed to be the head of creative in TNA after Dreamer’s exit.
TNA has cut a number of people in the last couple of weeks including Dreamer, Sami Callihan, and digital producer Luke Paron. Fightful Select reports that Invicta FC, an Anthem company also had some cuts and that at least one source in TNA said that the company is now profitable under Anthem, though there is no confirmation of that.
