Ray Gunn Official Trailer Presents a New Animated Vision From Brad Bird

Oscar-winning director Brad Bird presents a new animated vision in the upcoming feature, Ray Gunn. Netflix debuted the official trailer for the upcoming movie, produced by Skydance Animation, set for release later this year.

In the city of Metropia, a gigantic city in an alternate version of 1939, private eye Raymond Gunn (Sam Rockwell) is drawn into a dark investigation involving aliens, murder, and a multimedia star named Venus Nova (Scarlett Johansson).

Additional cast members were also revealed for the upcoming feature, including Tom Waits, Alan Tudyk, Matt Berry, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Chernus, Kether Donohue, Michelle Rodriguez, Aasif Mandvi, Matt Jones, Kathryn Hunter, John Ratzenberger, Justin Peck, and Patton Oswalt. Brad Bird directs from a script he co-wrote with Matthew Robbins, based on Bird’s original story.
