Mustafa Ali Says PAC Apologized To 205 Live Crew For Walking Out Of WWE

Mustafa Ali says that PAC apologized to the 205 Live roster after he walked out of WWE back in 2017. The AEW star, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 40, was part of the WWE roster and a member of the cruiserweight division, which was largely focused around 205 Live at the time, when he walked out of the October 9th, 2017 episode of Raw over his dissatisfaction with the company. He would eventually get free of his contract in August of 2018.

Ali was also part of the division in WWE at that time, and he posted to Twitter to share his memory of PAC at that point.

Ali wrote:

“When the 205live boys had to sneak out to meet Pac, we just wanted to see our friend again. Our fearless leader.

Pac wanted to meet us for something else. He told us that he wanted to apologize for leaving. That he felt he left us hanging. We had to assure him that we all supported him and him fighting the machine. Despite everything he was going through, he was thinking of us.

As we said our goodbyes, Pac pulled me aside and said ‘Don’t let the rat bastards pull you down, bubba.'”

PAC would of course go to AEW, being announced as one of their first signees, while Ali is now part of the TNA roster. Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will be a tribute to PAC.
