Update On Mason Rook After Being Pulled From WWE NXT

Mason Rook will be out for a while after being pulled from tonight’s episode of WWE NXT. As noted earlier, Rook was pulled from his NXT Championship match against Grayson Waller on tonight’s show after he was deemed as not medically cleared.

In a new video shared by the NXT Twitter account, General Manager Robert Stone informed Waller that he would not be facing Rook. Stone didn’t provide a huge update, but noted that Rook is out “for the foreseeable future.”

He then went on to inform Waller that, as previously announced, he will now defend the title in an open challenge from anyone on the NXT roster.

Rook last competed on the September 19th WWE NXT live event in a six-man tag team match. He did appear on last week’s episode of NXT and had a promo duel with Waller.
