Maxxine Dupri Comments on Turning Heel & Joining The Vision

WWE Superstar Maxxine Dupri recently reacted to her turning heel and joining The Vision on Monday Night RAW.
As noted previously, Dupri lowblowed Angelo Dawkins during the World Tag Team Championship match, paving the way for Austin Theory to secure the pinfall and bring tag team gold back to The Vision. After the match, Dupri shared a passionate kiss with Theory to cement their partnership.
This past Monday night on RAW, Maxxine’s former allies Otis and Akira Tozawa confronted her. However, it didn’t turn out well for the duo, especially Otis, who, after being mentally manipulated by Maxxine, received a brutal beatdown from Theory and Co.
Despite her receiving immense heat from fans for her actions, Maxxine Dupri isn’t bothered at all, and she can’t care less about what people are saying about her on social media. She commented on her heel turn during an appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show.
“I do feel like a weight is off my shoulders. I no longer care what these haters have to say. I don’t care what all these normies in the crowd want to tweet about me; I no longer have to impress you guys. Austin is into me, and he’s down with everything I’m doing, so why I do need to worry about anything they’re doing? Let’s not forget, Paul Heyman was also very proud.” [per Fightful]
On helping The Vision secure the World Tag Team Title last week, Maxxine Dupri said she had been waiting to make Austin Theory proud.
“I’ve been waiting for that moment. I’ve been waiting to just unleash and do what needs to be done and make Austin proud. I did it. It was just like in the moment. You couldn’t have dreamt that up to be better. I showed up for him; I applied the pressure. As Dawkins fell over, he got the pin because he’s brilliant, obviously. Afterwards, it was just like, I think it’s time we fill everyone in on what’s going on.”
