Mercedes Mone will not be competing at AEW All Out, but she will learn who her next opponent is at the show. Excalibur announced on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite that Mone is not cleared to compete at the PPV. Mone suffered a broken nose in her title victory over Nightingale at AEW All In on August 30th.
Instead, it was announced that Willow Nightingale will battle Thekla at the show, with the winner going on to challenge Mone for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW WrestleDream.
AEW All Out takes place on September 26th from the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois and airs live on PPV, HBO Max in the US, and MyAEW internationally. We’ll have an updated card for the show after tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite ends.
