Mercedes Mone Set To Face Red Velvet In An ROH Women’s World TV Title Unification Match on 11/19 AEW Dynamite

Mercedes Mone is set for a massive match on next week’s three-hour special episode of AEW Dynamite and Collision in Boston, Massachusetts.

The CEO is set to battle Red Velvet in an ROH Women’s World Television Championship unification match. The announcement for the match was made on tonight’s episode of Collision.

Velvet was the reigning ROH Women’s World TV Champion when she suffered a neck injury in June 2025. As a result, an interim champion was crowned at ROH Supercard of Honor, where Mina Shirakawa defeated Miyu Yamashita, Persephone, and Yuka Sakazaki in a four-way bout.

Shirakawa held the title for just over three months before she was dethroned by Mercedes Mone in a Winner Takes All Match for the AEW TBS Championship and the Interim ROH Women’s World TV Title at WrestleDream 2025.

Following that, Red Velvet revealed that she has been medically cleared to return to in-ring action, and while she congratulated Mone on her victory, the 34-year-old reminded the CEO that she never lost the TV Title. Velvet also issued a warning to Mercedes, stating that the next time the latter sees her face, it’ll be the last thing she’d see before her empire crumbles.

It was a back-and-forth battle at #AEWWrestleDream, but @MercedesVarnado came out on top to become the Interim #ROH Women’s World TV Champion.

It will be interesting to see if Mercedes manages to overcome Velvet’s challenge this Wednesday.
