Mike Santana continues to reign as TNA World Champion. At tonight’s Rebellion pay-per-view, Santana defended his championship against Eddie Edwards in the main event.

During the match, Alisha Edwards limped out to the ring, only for Moose to follow suit. Moose played a video, exposing Alisha’s claim that her ankle was hurt. Edwards also left Eddie a voice memo that she’d be there to help him win the title.

However, The System’s Bear Bronson and Brian Myers jumped Moose. Santana took them out before being taken down by Edwards via the Boston Knee Party for a near fall.

Moose recovered and hit Edwards with a Spear behind the referee’s back. Santana went for the cover, and even though Edwards didn’t kick out, the referee didn’t count the pinfall.

After the referee sent Alisha and Moose to the back, Cedric Alexander tried to interfere but was taken down by Santana via the Rolling Cutter.

Santana eventually hit multiple Rolling Lariats to secure the pinfall victory and retain his gold.
