Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell (Tegan Nox in WWE) reportedly walked out of AEW Collision on Saturday night. As reported earlier, PWInsider reported that the duo refused to lose to Tay Melo and Anna Jay and walked out of the show prior to it starting. Hyan and Maya World ended up replacing Alize and Newell.

It appears, however, that there may be more to the story. Fightful Select reports that they were told that Alize and Newell didn’t leave the show because they didn’t want to lose, and that they fully expected to lose the match, but that they were unhappy with their match only being scheduled for three minutes. According to the report, they were told the time allocated for the match could not be changed.

The report notes that AEW was “shocked” by the situation. They add that Alize was said to be the more vocal one about the situation. She was also quick to comment afterwards on X.

Alize quickly commented on the situation on X, saying “We have SOOOOOOOO much to say ……………”

She also retweeted a comment from a fan that said, “yeah I agree that they can do with some credible wins and not just quick squash matches”

Fightful was contacted by various talent that know Alize and Newell who felt that the two of them could have handled the situation in a different manner.

Neither Alize or Newell are under AEW contract.

Newell was released by WWE back in November of 2024, ending her run as Tegan Nox. She and Alize made their AEW debut on October 25th, 2025 on AEW Collision.
