Miyu Yamashita is heading back to Bloodsport for the promotion’s WrestleMania week show, as announced on Thursday. Barnett posted to his Twitter account to announce that Yamashita will be competing at Bloodsport XV, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Barnett wrote:
“It isn’t simply about winning and losing for this Pro Wrestling Karateka, it’s about the FIGHT!
If it’s a fight she needs, then there’s only one place to go:
Miyu Yamashita is returning to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport, Wrestlemania Week.”
You can get tickets for the show here.
Yamashita last competed for the promotion at Bloodsport XII in April of last year during WrestleMania 41 weekend. She is 0 – 2 in Bloodsport matches, having lost to Nattie Neidhart last year and Shayna Baszler in 2023. Her most recent match was for TJPW at night two of Futari Wa Princess Max Heart, where she teamed with Kaya Toribami in a losing effort to Arisu Endo & Suzume in round two of the Futari Wa Princess Max Heart Tournament.
The show is the first Bloodsport event of 2026 and the first since the Barnett-run GCW-presented show went over to London in late September. Yamashita is the first talent announced for the show.
