MJF Comments on Kenny Omega Match: ‘I Will Drink Your Tears Like Fine Wine’

AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is ready for his title defense against former champion Kenny Omega. In fact, MJF anticipates a fan “meltdown” on social media after the bout, which he intends to win.

As previously noted, during this week’s AEW Dynamite, Omega accepted MJF’s offer for a title match at Beach Break. However, if Omega loses, he can never challenge for the AEW World Championship again.

MJF is relishing the possibility of Omega’s loss, and he plans to drink the tears of fans “like a fine wine.” He wrote on his X account, “The meltdown on this app after Wednesday night is going to keep my black heart pumping for an eternity. I will drink your tears like fine wine.”

Kenny Omega vs. MJF for the AEW World Title takes place next week at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break. The event is being held at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida.

It will be broadcast live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm ET. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max.
