MJF has ended Hangman Page’s chances if ever being World Champion, beating Page in a violent Texas Deathmatch in the main event of AEW Revolution. MJF battled Page in a bloody and brutal match at Sunday’s show with the AEW World Championship on the line. The stipulation going into the match was that if Page didn’t win, he could never challenge for the title as long as he lived.

The bout went over 45 minutes and saw Page and MJF use every weapon under the sun. Barbed-wire wrapped chairs, tables, the dreaded syringe, a window, light tubes and more came into play as the two bloodied each other repeatedly to try and keep their opponent down for the 10-count. Late in the match, Page took over and attached a dog collar to himself and MJF, which kept the champion from running away. They even went through electrical equipment at the side of the stage.

The finish saw Page set MJF up for the Buckshot Lariat after nailing him with the World Title. But MJF put on the Dynamite Diamond Ring and nailed Page, then hung him over the ropes until he passed out. You can highlights from the match below.

MJF’s reign now stands at 79 days, having won it from Samoa Joe in a four-way match also involving Page and Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End.
