Major League Wrestling officially announced a return to Philadelphia with a two-night event on June 12-13 at the 2300 Arena. The shows will consist of MLW Fusion TV tapings and MLW’s signature event, Summer of the Beasts.
Stars scheduled for the events include newly crowned MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, Shotzi, Matt Riddle, and the ruthless international cabal known as CONTRA Unit. Don Gato will also make a special appearance at the shows, as MLW and Don Gato continue their partnership to bring fans “an unforgettable live experience.”
MLW previously held the promotion’s debut event in Philadelphia with Genesis in June 2002, which was also held at the 2300. This year’s events mark the promotion’s 24th anniversary.
Both nights will be “fueled” by Danny McBride’s Don Gato Tequila brand. Tickets for the events go on sale on Friday, February 27 at 10:00 am ET at MLW2300.com. Seats will start at $15.
