More Backstage Details on Adnan Virk’s WWE Exit, When WWE Made the Decision

– As previously reported, former Raw lead broadcaster Adnan Virk is gone from WWE after a mutual parting of ways was announced yesterday. Virk lasted only six weeks with the company. Fightful Select has released an update with more details on Virk’s exit.

Both WWE officials and Virk reportedly were aware the arrangement was not working out, and it was known very early on. Both sides reportedly hoped to keep the paring of ways amicable.

While the official announcement said that the departure was a mutual decision, WWE staff members reportedly said that company officials were going to make the decision to have Virk dismissed from Raw regardless of that. Additionally, the decision was made that Virk would be leaving before the May 24 show.

Also, the report noted that a replacement order for Virk was put in as early as Tuesday (May 25). WWE has not yet announced who will be taking Virk’s place on the Raw broadcast team.
