More Backstage Details on WWE Crown Jewel Moving Venues

As previously reported, Riyadh Season announced on X minutes ago that WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is moving to a new venue and that ticket holders were being refunded. WWE and Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) have yet to announce the new location for the event.

According to an update from Fightful Select, WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is expected to remain in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and it will not be moving outside the city or country. This aligns with PWInsider’s earlier report on the matter.

Additionally, Fightful Select reports that sources at WWE headquarters learned about the move only when Riyadh Season posted the announcement earlier. WWE has yet to issue a statement or announcement the matter.

Construction had already begun on the temporary outdoor venue for the WWE PLE. WWE’s website is still listing the event for Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD.

WWE has maintained the event would remain in Saudi Arabia amid concerns over the ongoing situation with the conflict in the Middle East and the Iran war. The U.S. State Department issued a Level 3 security advisory, advising U.S. citizens not to travel to Saudi Arabia. Additionally, non-emergency U.S. government employees and their families were ordered to leave the region.

WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is currently still advertised for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
