More Details on William Regal’s Current Backstage Role in WWE

– As previously reported, William Regal returned to WWE earlier this year and became Vice President of Global Talent Development, and he’s been attending many of the WWE TV tapings. PWInsider has more details on Regal’s behind-the-scenes role in the company.

According to the report, Regal takes notes on every match that takes place at the tapings and then meets with the talents after the matchups to provide advice on how they can improve their matches and performances, and make things look more “realistic from an in-ring perspective.” Regal also reportedly provides notes and suggestions on how the wrestlers can improve their selling of moves, physicality during lock up and reversal sequences, and more.

Additionally, PWINsider notes that Regal’s advice is about improving the finer points of the wrestlers’ work to make everyone look stronger in the ring.
