More Details on Why Tessa Blanchard Exited TNA Wrestling

As previously reported, former World Champion Tessa Blanchard has shockingly exited TNA after she was granted her release from the promotion. PWInsider has a report with more details on the matter.
PWInsider reports that politically, Blanchard could not continue wrestling for CMLL in Mexico and continue working in TNA, due to TNA’s promotional partnership with WWE, which also owns Lucha Libre AAA, a competing brand to CMLL. CMLL is also a promotional partner with AEW, a rival to both TNA and WWE.
Dave Meltzer reported earlier in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA officials weren’t happy about Blanchard still regularly appearing in CMLL. PWInsider notes that Blanchard opted to retain her ties with CMLL, where she’s wrestled for years. Fightful Select reported that Blanchard’s status in CMLL isn’t changing.
Tessa Blanchard previously re-joined TNA Wrestling in December 2024. She’s a former Impact World Champion and Knockouts World Champion.
