According to a report by Bryan Alvarez to his subscribers on his X account (via F4WOnline.com), the city of Nashville, Tennessee is making a play to bring WrestleMania to the city in 2028.
Nashville reportedly placed a $3.5 million bid, plus tax breaks, for WrestleMania 44 in 2028. During a recent TKO town hall, WWE President Nick Khan teased the location of that year’s WrestleMania, stating, “Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028.”
WWE has not yet announced where WrestleMania 44 is being held. WrestleMania 43 is currently slated for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later next year (2027). WWE has not yet announced the dates and venue for the premium live event, which marks the first overseas WrestleMania in WWE history.
Additionally, the city of Indianapolis is currently owed a WrestleMania. In June 2024, WWE announced a partnership with the city that promised to bring WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam to Indianapolis. The deal kicked off with Royal Rumble 2025, which was held at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The SummerSlam and WrestleMania events for Indianapolis have not yet been finalized. However, if WWE accepts the bid for WrestleMania in Nashville in 2028, that would put off plans for a WrestleMania in Indianapolis until at least 2029 at the earliest.
