Nick Khan has taken responsibility for running WrestleMania in Las Vegas two years in a row, and says it probably won’t happen again. WrestleMania 42 took place in Las Vegas, marking the second year in a row that the PLE took place in the city. The event had slower ticket sales and Khan acknowledged it’s something they probably won’t do again during an internal TKO town hall.
Khan addressed the matter by saying that the PLE was “ultimately successful.” He also teased a big announcement for the location of WrestleMania 44 in 2028, though he didn’t reveal where it would take place. WrestleMania 43 is currently set to take place in Saudi Arabia next April. You can see excerpts of his comments below (per POST Wrestling):
On Running the Show In Las Vegas Again:
“That was ultimately my decision. Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event.”
On Their Plans For The 2028 Iteration:
“Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028.”
WrestleMania 42 ultimately had an announced attendance of 106,071 between the two nights, broken down to 50,816 for night one and 55,255 for night two.
