We’re just a day away from WrestleMania 42, and the latest report has an update on the ticket sales. The two-night PLE’s ticket sales have been a huge topic of discussion, both in and out of the wrestling community, in terms of the numbers being down form last year’s record numbers. The WON had updated numbers on WrestleMania and its related shows.

The site reports that even with discounts like the Pat McAfee-announced 25% off WrestleMania Saturday tickets that ran from last week’s Smackdown to Raw, ticket sales are down 17.0% from last year’s show in the same venue.

As of Thursday evening, WrestleTix reports that the ticket sales were at 44,319 for Saturday and 45,183 for Sunday. Those numbers were up 730 and 915 from two days prior. The shows are set up for 47,094 both nights although the max capacity is 65,000.

All that said, the shows are still set to be the best or second-best financially in company history depending on if they beat last year’s $33 million per night. This is of course due to higher prices. Nick Khan said he expects them to “get close” to the record.

Currently the “get in” price for WrestleMania Saturday is $145, while Sunday is $213. The Won notes that the market overall is down 16.6% from last year.

In terms of the related shows, tonight’s WWE Smackdown is at 8,243 tickets sole while Raw is at 8,873. By comparison, last year’s shows were sell-outs with 17,051 for Smackdown and 17,831 for Raw.

As for the WWE Hall of Fame, it is at 2,382 tickets, down 13.1% from the same pace last year, while the Tony Hinchcliffe special on Sunday is at 3,244 which is up 41.5% from the same point last year.
