Nigel McGuinness picked up a win at ROH Supercard of Honor as he defeated Josh Woods in a Pure Rules match. Friday night’s show saw the two battle back and forth under Pure Rules stipulations in the opening match of the main card.

The match saw both McGuinness and Woods use up all their rope breaks, and midway through the match both men got on commentary with headsets. McGuinness said the match wasn’t going how he planned, while Woods said it was going exactly how he thought it would before the ref got on his own headset and ordered them back into the ring.

The finish of the match saw Woods escape the London Dungeon but get nailed with a Rebound Lariat for the pinfall at just under 15 minutes. You can see clips from the match below.

This marks McGuinness’ first match since ROH Global Wars United Kingdom in December of 2025, where he beat Wheeler Yuta.
