Nikki Bella Possibly Hurt During WWE Smackdown Match

Nikki Bella may have suffered an injury during her match on Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, according to a new report. Friday night’s episode saw the Bella Twins take on Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair in tag team action as they jockeyed for position to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The Bellas ultimately picked up the win when Brie rolled Bliss up.

Bryan Alvarez reports that Nikki appeared to hurt her leg in the match while she was in an off-screen brawl with Nia Jax. Nikki was limping and had Jax throw her outside of the ring. She didn’t get back into the ring, and a doctor was checking on her.

There’s no word as to the potential severity of the issue. The post-match saw Jax and Lash Legend attack both teams in the match with Bayley and Lyra Valkryia running down for the save. All three teams are seeking to challenge Jax and Legend, with Bayley and Valkryia set to compete for the titles on Monday’s Raw. The Women’s Tag Team Champions have not yet been announced for a match at WrestleMania 42.
