NJPW Unveils Full Card For The New Beginning In Osaka 2026

New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has revealed the full card for The New Beginning in Osaka 2026.

The show will take place at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan, on February 11, 2026, and will be headlined by the IWGP Heavyweight Championship match between defending champ Yota Tsuji and challenger Jake Lee. This will be Tsuji’s first defense since capturing the coveted title from Konosuke Takeshita at Wrestle Kingdom earlier this month.

Tsuji also holds the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, and though he won’t defend the title at The New Beginning, a number-one contender’s match between Andrade El Idolo and Gabe Kidd will take place at the event.

Additionally, David Finlay and Callum Newman will go one-on-one in a grudge match. A rematch for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship will also take place on February 11, with Zack Sabre Jr., Ryohei Oiwa, and Hartley Jackson determined to regain the title they lost to Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, and Oleg Boltin earlier this week.

Also, Aaron Wolf will defend his NEVER Openweight Title against Ren Narita, while the IWGP Tag Team Title will be on the line when The Knock Out Brothers face Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura.
