Note On Allie Katch’s Status Following Loser Leaves GCW Match

Allie Katch lost a Loser Leaves GCW match over WrestleMania weekend, and a new report has an update on her status following the loss. Katch faced Effy in at Joey Janela’s Spring Break X over WrestleMania weekend, with the stipulation being that the loser had to leave the promotion. Effy picked up the victory after almost 26 minutes.
A fan question sent to Fightful Select Answers Q&A asked whether Katch had signed somewhere, or whether she was “leaving” as part of an angle. Sean Ross Sapp noted that she has not signed with WWE, which is the only company that prevents talent from working for GCW.
Sapp did not specify that it was an angle, and instead pointed out that Katch has slowed down her bookings for GCW since she returned to the ring in November of last year. She has worked four matches for GCW since her return, whereas she was working multiple GCW shows a month in late 2024 before the injury.
Katch was out of action for much of 2025 due to a broken leg that she suffered in January at The People vs. GCW. She received praise from Gabe Sapolsky following her match with WWE ID Women’s Champion Laynie Luck in March.
