Note On WWE Status Of AJ Lee Amid Paige & Nikki Bella Feud

AJ Lee hasn’t been seen in WWE since she lost the Women’s Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania, and a new report has a small note on her current status. Lee last appeared at the second night of the PLE, when she lost her title back to Becky Lynch.

There has been speculation online that Lee might be part of the feud between The Bella Twins and Paige after the Bellas turned heel on Paige at WWE SummerSlam. Brie Bella sustained an injury in the SummerSlam match, and Nikki is still feuding with Paige. According to Fightful Select, sources in creative had not heard that Lee was planned for that storyline. In addition, the talent involved were not told what was planned for the feud before Brie got injured.

While Lee is currently off TV, sources in the company told the site that they don’t believe she has had her last match. She returned to WWE in September of 2025 and feuded with Lynch on and off through to WrestleMania 42.

No word as of now on when AJ Lee may return to WWE TV.
