Note On WWE’s Possible Creative Plans For Maxxine Dupri

A new report has a bit of detail on WWE’s potential creative plans for Maxxine Dupri on Raw. Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that Dupri is set to join The Vision, noting that they continued the tease of Dupri and Theory associating with each other on last night’s WWE Raw.

For those who missed it, Dupri and her Alpha Academy stablemates were in a backstage segment where Paul Heyman was leading Austin Theory away after Adam Pearce told Theory to go home. Theory, who had attacked several members of the roster in his quest for revenge on behalf of the injured Logan Paul, gave Dupri a look and walked off. Otis said that Theory “smells like bad news” and Dupri said Theory “just has a lot going on” before leaving in the other direction to Otis and Akira Tozawa’s confusion.

Meltzer noted that this was intended to be a tease for Dupri and Theory, but that “it’s like you’re not supposed to know that they’re leaving together.”

Dupri has been seen in the background of several backstage segments over the last several months, notably when she was feuding with Natalya. The hints popped up again on the May 4th Raw when the two were seen speaking in the background of a segment.

The Vision has been beset by depeleted numbers due to injury with Bronson Reed and Paul currently out. Breakker was also out of action from after the Royal Rumble until he returned at WrestleMania to help Gunther beat Seth Rollins.
