During the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp answered a fan question regarding potential in-ring retirements for top main event WWE Superstars, including the 48-year-old CM Punk, the 46-year-old Randy Orton, the 41-year-old Roman Reigns, and the 40-year-old Seth Rollins. Back in 2022, Randy Orton spoke about wanting to wrestle another 10 years.
Sapp noted that Orton has at least three years left on his current contract. Back in August 2024, it was reported that Orton signed a five-year contract extension to his WWE deal, which would take him to about 2029. Orton will be 49 years old at that point.
Sapp reports that Rollins’ current WWE contract runs at least three more years as well. That will put him at about 43 years old around the time his current deal ends. Sapp also says that WWE will allow Roman Reigns to work his current part-time schedule “as long as they will have him,” predicting he won’t retire from the ring for another ten years.
Additionally, Sapp speculated that Punk will likely have his “full-time farewell” at the end of his current contract. Punk reportedly signed a three-year contract upon his return to WWE in late 2023. However, last year Punk said that WWE was trying to get him to sign a new five-year contract.
