UPDATED: NXT WarGames Set For December, Takeover Name Removed
UPDATE: It appears as if WWE may be dropping “Takeover” from the name of NXT PPVs going forward if the WarGames announcement is any indication. WWE has deleted the initial tweet that named it as “NXT Takeover: WarGames” and posted a new one without the Takeover name.
As you can see, the word “Takeover” is also not part of the graphic. WWE has used Takeover in conjunction with NXT events since NXT TakeOver in May of 2014.
