Omos Names AAA Talents Who’ve Given Him Advice
Adapting to AAA can’t be an easy thing for a powerhouse giant who doesn’t do the kinds of wild cruiserweight somersaults lucha libre fans are used to. Omos, however seems to be thriving in that world, perhaps drawing on his experience tagging with the phenomenal — and phenomenally technical — AJ Styles. On the Complex Graps podcast, he was asked which talents had helped him the most.
“I would say, to be honest, I mean before, until he got on my bad side, Rey Mysterio, but now he can kick rocks!” said the Nigerian Giant, half in-character. The interview was done prior to Omos defeating Rey to get his job back, albeit with a lot of help
But there is another name in AAA — and in WWE — who is still on the massive superstar’s more benevolent side.
“Lince Dorado,” he said. He’s also a coach at the performance center so I talk to him quite often. So he’s been great.”
A man of many talents, Lince Dorado also recently created the Minihausen mask for Danhausen. He is a veteran of WWE, AEW, and Impact Wrestling (TNA), and holder of the WWE 24-7 title once.
