Parker Boudreaux garnered a number of comparisons to Brock Lesnar earlier in his career that WWE capitalized on, something he recently commented on. Boudreaux was initially refereed to as “The Next Big Thing” by Paul Heyman when he signed to WWE, a direct comparison to Lesnar, and Boudreaux recently talked about how that was a double-edged sword for him during his conversation with SoCal Val of WrestlingNews.co.

“Both,” Boudreaux began (per Fightful). “A blessing and a curse because obviously, I’m not Brock Lesnar. I’m not the next Brock Lesnar. I mean, he’s probably the greatest athlete/pro wrestler of all time, whether that goes UFC, WWE, NFL even. He’s a once in a lifetime athlete.”

He continued, “I see the similarities, we’re almost the same height, same weight. We’re very explosive and athletic and crazy and have that insane factor that you can teach inside the ring or outside of the ring. We’re so different in so many ways, he’s his own beast. He’s possibly the greatest athlete of all time. He is Brock Lesnar and I’m trying to be the first and only Parker Boudreaux.”

Boudreaux signed to WWE in 2021 and debuted at the end of that year in WWE NXT as Harland, working alongside Joe Gacy. He was released in April of 2022.
