Pat McAfee has made a bold statement, vowing that he will leave wrestling TV forever if Randy Orton loses to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42. As noted, McAfee was revealed as Orton’s mystery advisor on this week’s WWE Smackdown. He joined with Orton to assault Cody Rhodes and said that he was helping Orton save wrestling from going down a direction that will kill it.
McAfee posted a video on social media after the appearance vowing that if Orton doesn’t win at WrestleMania, he will be done appearing on wrestling TV. You can see the video below.
“How about that, marks?,” Pat McAfee said. “Never back on any wrestling television if Randy Orton loses at WrestleMania. I don’t know how long the business will last if that happens, but I will never come back. I’m here on a mission to motivate a 6’5″, 270, 280 pound monster to lead the WWE. My friend, the Legend Killer, the GOAT, Randy Orton.”
WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
