Pretty Deadly Reportedly Have ‘Good Chance’ of Reuniting Once Elton Prince Returns From Injury

With Elton Prince currently out of action due to injury, is that all she wrote for Pretty Deadly as a tag team? On the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp expressed on the Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast that he doesn’t believe that to be the case.

Sapp noted that with Prince’s injury, it’s become clear that WWE either didn’t have plans for Wilson for months, or the promotion didn’t expect Prince to be as long as he has been so far. Additionally, Sapp reported that it was indicated to him that when Prince returns to the ring, there’s “a good chance” that Pretty Deadly will reunite, noting that the team has yet to have a real run on the main roster.

With Prince out of action, Wilson has recently competed on his own in singles action. At WWE SmackDown on October 31, he lost a singles bout to Carmelo Hayes. It’s unknown when Elton Prince will be able to make his in-ring return.

As a tag team, Pretty Deadly previously held the NXT UK Tag Team Titles and the NXT Tag Team Championships. They held the NXT Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions as part of the roster. They’ve yet to win the tag team titles on the main roster.
