The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Wichita Falls, TX has shut down.
According to the WON, the end of the facility coincided with heat on Johnny Mantell, who was running it. The place was reportedly “a wreck” by the time it closed. Historian and author Tim Hornbaker went to save some of the items and did so, but a lot of the memorabilia was gone. It included items from late historian J. Michael Kenyon, as well as his ashes and instructions for their disposal. Wrestling Classics’ Crimson Mas said those instructions were ignored.
In addition to the building shutting down, the official website has also expired.
