– There is no clear cut reason as of why Apolo went back to IWA. The rumored reason is that he is looking for a main event spot. In WWC he was quickly fading away underneath the invaders angle and with the emergence of Orlando Colon, Joe Bravo and Bryan as top stars. His image has suffered from this jumps. WWC and Carlos Colon paid for his debts and also bailed him out of jail when he was arrested for failing to pay child support and later on, for apparent domestic trouble with his wife Habana. He also made a lot of rude comments about IWA and once swore that he would never be back in IWA. Thanks to WWC and the All Japan deal, Apolo was set to debut in All-Japan in October, but after the jump the dates where called off. His return to IWA happened during Golpe de Estado, he interfered in the match between the IWA Hoodman and the Council Hoodman and attacked both men before being taken away by security. The angle IWA is playing is that he does not work for IWA and is just attacking random people, like a one man invader.

– Talking about the hoodmen: The IWA Hoodman won the match and unmasked one of the WWC Hoodmen who turned out to be former WWC Universal Champion Abbad. Abbad left WWC in February of this year. The IWA Hoodman was attacked and unmasked by the Starr Corporation, revealing himself to be Chicano as expected. El Bacano made a save turn by saving him.

– The reason the other hoodman was not unmasked is that IWA had someone from WWC who would debut as the hoodman. But it seems the deal fell trough and they where forced to use a jobber underneath the hood. There is still a strong rumor that someone from WWC will be unmasked as the hoodman eventually.

– The big angle in WWC is the invaders, now called La Rabia, trying to lure Orlando Colon to their side. When Orlando was revealed as the man underneath the mask of Fire Blaze, he said he did so because he wanted to wrestle and reach the top without using the prestige of his last name as an elevator to sucess. He even retired because he did not want to wrestle as a Colon. La Rabia is trying to use this feeling of his to lure him to their cause.

– IWA will present a big event called “En Ruta Hacia El Oro”(The Road to the Gold) on September 29th 2007 from Caguas PR. The main event will be Blitz challenging Bison Smith for the IWA World Title. Also in the card will be Glammour Boy Shane & Ricky Vega vs The Naturals for the IWA Tag Team Titles, Slash Venom vs Big Vito and Chicano vs Abbad.
