Randy Orton Interrupted By Trick Williams On WWE Smackdown, Miz Gets RKO’d

Randy Orton found himself confronted by Trick Williams in the opening segment of this week’s WWE Smackdown, and the Miz got involved to his detriment. Friday night’s show saw The Viper come out to open the show. He started to cut a promo about how it’s good to be back before the new Smackdown star came out to the ring.
Williams talked about how 2026 was going to be his year and claimed that every country but Germany (where the show took place tonight) loved him. He told Orton that it wasn’t 2006 anymore, it was 2026. Orton countered by reminding Williams who he was and said Williams looks like a star but doesn’t seem to have brains. Williams backed off and praised Orton as one of the best before turning away from Orton, who said Williams should never do that and next time he will get whooped.
Williams then knocked the mic out of Orton’s hand and Orton took over on Williams. However, Miz then came out to try and attack Orton from behind. Orton hit an RKO on Miz and then walked to the back as Rey Fenix came out to face Williams. You can see highlights from the segment below:
