Rebel Becomes Ambassador For Non-Profit I AM ALS

AEW’s Rebel has announced that she is joining the non-profit I AM ALS as an ambassador for the organization. Rebel, aka Tanae Brooks, appeared in a video posted to Twitter by the charity in which she announced the news.
Rebel said that she wants to help the organization make a difference in get closer to a cure. Rebel herself announced last month that she had been diagnoses with the condition, and AEW released a merchandise collection on Tuesday with 100 percent of the profits will be donated to the ALS Association and Team Gleason.
The tweet reads:
“I am Tanea Brooks. I am Rebel. Now, I AM ALS.
ALS may be terminal, but I’m showing up to fight as an Ambassador for I AM ALS, a patient-led movement pushing for real progress. I’m proud to join I AM ALS & I’m asking you to step into the ring with us → “
I AM ALS describes itself as follows on its website:
“I AM ALS, a major ALS support organization, is committed to offering comprehensive ALS resources. Our programs are aimed at educating the public about ALS disease, pushing for policy reforms, and assisting families afflicted by the disease. We empower patients and caregivers to become advocates, fund cutting-edge research initiatives, and build compassionate communities through peer-to-peer support and storytelling.”
