Rey Mysterio Wants To Put More Than a Mask on the Line Against Dominik Mysterio

During a recent interview with Fox News and Outkick, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio discussed his ongoing feud with his son, Dominik Mysterio. Below are some highlights:
Rey Mysterio on Dominik Wanting a Mask and an Apology to End Their Feud
“That’s pretty deep for him to say that. At the end of the day, I believe I have much more tricks up my sleeve than he does. If he thinks he’s going to step all over me, retire me, take my name and have me apologize to him for what apparently I have done, maybe I shouldn’t have helped him break into the business. Maybe he should have grinded on his own and scratched and clawed just like I did at the age of 14 when I first broke into the business, which was really tough back then. Now, it’s much easier to get into the business. It’s not like before.”
On Putting Something on the Line Against Dom
“I would love and wait to see that day come to fruition. I would love to step into the ring with Dom and put something on the line. Something that means much more than just a mask.”
During last weekend’s TripleMania 34: Night 2, Dominik Mysterio lost his AAA Mega Title to El Grande Americano. During last night’s Raw, Rey Mysterio was also featured in the opening segment. The Judgment Day then challenged Rey and Vaquer to a tag team match, but El Grande Americano took Rey’s place, as the former isn’t cleared to compete after being attacked by Omos.
Ultimately, it was El Grande Americano and Stephanie Vaquer against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. The match ended in a disqualification after The Judgment Day interfered, taking out Americano and Vaquer.
