Rhea Ripley Reflects On Drake Calling Her His ‘Muse,’ Getting A Lil Yachty Shout-Out

Rhea Ripley has become a favorite of WWE fans big and small, and she recently commented on being shouted out by the likes of Drake and Lil Yachty. Drake referred to Ripley as his “muse” in a podcast last year, while Yachty gave her props while during a ring ringside appearance on WWE TV.

Ripley was asked about the matter during an sneaker shopping video for Complex. She noted that it’s wild to her how many WWE stars have crossed over into the mainstream. You can see highlights below:

On Getting Shouted Out By Lil Yachty:

“It’s wild. Like, it’s so wild to see how so many names here in the WWE have sort of crossed that wrestling line and made it mainstream. And now people know us. Like, rappers know us, basketball players know us, football players they know us. It’s wild to see how big the WWE has become and the superstars in it.

“It’s really cool to see, because I didn’t know that he would know who I am. And then I saw that clip and I was like, ‘Damn, Lil Yachty knows who I am. It’s pretty cool.'”

On Drake Calling Her His ‘Muse’:

“I remember meeting Drake for the first time. We were in gorilla and he just kind of like snuck in. Just seeing him in person, I was like, ‘Damn, that’s Drake. That’s wild.’ And then like to hear him pretty much put me over as his muse. Like it’s just — it’s nice.”
