Rhino Doing Promotional Work for AEW in Detroit This Week, Will Appear at This Week’s TV Tapings

Former WWE, TNA, and ECW star Rhino is doing some promotional work for AEW this week in his native Detroit, Michigan. In a post on his Instagram account, Rhino revealed that he was visiting FOX 2 in Detroit to promote AEW ahead of their TV tapings in the city this week.
He wrote in the caption, “At Fox 2 Detroit to promote AEW wrestling coming July 29&30th to Detroit!! Go to AEWTIX.COM for tickets !! Let’s go! Grab your tickets now or get hit with a Gore, Gore, Gore 🦏 #rhino #prowrestling #aew #detroit”
Additionally, PWInsider reports that the former ECW World Champion will be appearing at this week’s TV tapings. Rhino previously debuted in AEW on Dynamite in May 2025, where he challenged Nick Wayne for the ROH TV Championship in his hometown of Detroit. Wayne picked up the victory to retain the belt.
AEW Dynamite is set for tomorrow at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theater. The show will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm EST. This week’s Collision will be taped the following night (July 30) at the same venue.
