Road Dogg Wants To Reunite New Age Outlaws For Dumpster Match With The Gunns

Road Dogg wants to join forces again with Billy Gunn and take on Gunn’s kids in a Dumpster Match, but needs some time to get ready for it. The WWE Hall of Famer recently did a virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest and during the stream, he was asked about potentially going to AEW. Road Dogg left WWE, where he was Smackdown’s co-lead writer, in early March.

Road Dogg noted that he would be down to reunite the New Age Outlaws with Gunn and take on Austin and Colten Gunn, saying (per Fightful):

“I wanna have one last Dumpster match against [Gunn’s] children. I figure they would [host the match], but I need like a year. I need like nine months. At least three quarters.”

Road Dogg and Billy Gunn haven’t teamed up in the ring since the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble, when they lost to The Ascension. That match was Road Dogg’s last in-ring appearance. Gunn, meanwhile, has been remained active and is part of the AEW/ROH roster. He has teamed with Brady Booker & Elijah Drago for dark matches at recent ROH tapings.
