Roman Reigns Acknowledges LA Knight For His Performance at WWE Money in the Bank 2026

Roman Reigns acknowledged LA Knight for backing up his words with a brilliant performance in the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026.

As noted, Reigns defended his gold against Knight in the opening match of tonight’s premium live event. Knight brought his A-game to the table, but it was sadly not enough for him to dethrone Roman.

Speaking to Cathy Kelly during the post-show, Reigns gave Knight his flowers for bringing the fight to him but then added that the latter ran into a better competitor. Reigns added that he doesn’t want to see Knight down the road. Here’s what he said:

“This [World Heavyweight Championship] was priority right here. If I didn’t come to New Orleans, if I didn’t hold it down, if I didn’t whoop LA Knight, which I got to give him his respect: He runs his mouth, but he came in there, and he backed it up, but he just ran into a better competitor today. I don’t want to see him down the road. But man, this was the prerequisite to get to Monday, and I’m just happy I was able to do it.”

Reigns also claimed that, unlike in previous years, the World Heavyweight Championship is the most-sought after title in the company, acknowledging that he has lots of targets on his back. When asked about how he intends to help his family against The 946, Reigns said:

“That’s the hardest part of this thing. This [points at the belt] is the business, but family is always a priority. But this is No.1 right now. This is my obligation, and that’s the beauty of our family. They understand it better than anybody. But at the same time, I’ve always been in a position of power, so I’m always wanna help mine. If I get a chance to do that, I will, but right now, No. 1 (points to the belt again).”
