Backstage Details On Roxanne Perez Receiving Praise From WWE Officials

WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez has reportedly been receiving praise backstage for her work ethic in recent times.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Observer), the Judgment Day member has been praised by WWE officials for “gutting through” leading into and during the company’s European Tour despite being banged up.

Despite the undisclosed physical issues, Roxanne Perez was a major feature during WWE’s European tour, wrestling several matches across different countries in recent weeks.

The Prodigy worked singles matches against former Women’s Intercontinental Champions Maxxine Dupri and Lyra Valkyria (2 matches), a six-woman tag team match, and a standard tag team bout during the Road to Royal Rumble Tour, while also competing in a Triple Threat Women’s Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Match on last week’s RAW, which she and Liv Morgan won.

This past Monday, Perez was a part of the angle that saw her, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez take out Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Perez and Morgan will challenge Ripley and SKY for the Women’s Tag Team Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal this weekend.

With the former NXT Women’s Champion establishing her reputation as a resilient performer, one can expect a major push for her as we move forward. For now, it will be interesting to see if she and Liv manage to capture tag team gold this weekend.
