Sammy Guevara Comments on ROH Tag Team Title Loss: ‘I Think It’s Time To Focus on My Real Destiny’

As previously reported, Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos lost the ROH World Tag Team Titles to El Sky Team, Místico and Máscara Dorada, at last night’s CMLL Viernes Espectacular show in Mexico City. Guevara later commented on the title loss via social media.

Sammy Guevara initially wrote, “If you don’t have the courage to chase greatness, you’ll never understand the cost of it. Congratulations to Sky Team. I think it’s time to focus on my real destiny…

He later added, “August 17, 2024 – June 26, 2026 Wembley Stadium. Tokyo Dome. Arena México. Australia. Three championship reigns. Back to back to back. But every chapter has an ending. Onto the next…”
