Samoa Joe Names Three Underrated AEW-ROH Wrestlers

Former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe recently named three AEW-ROH wrestlers who he feels have a lot of untapped potential.

During a recent interaction with TV Insider, Joe was asked to name three wrestlers from the current roster who have a lot of upside but haven’t been paid attention to.

Joe named Queen Aminata, Trish Adora, and fellow Opps’ mate Action Andretti. Here’s what he said:

“I think Queen Aminata. There is a ton of potential that is kind of unrealized there. I would say the same thing with Trish Adora. I think those are two talents that I consistently see where maybe their best is still kind of in front of them.

“On the men’s side, there are also a lot. I’d say [Action] Andretti. I think him being given more opportunity and given more spots could be quite the force to be reckoned with.”

Queen Aminata is featured on both AEW and ROH programming. She challenged Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s World Championship at the Grand Slam: France TV special last Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trish Adora, who signed with the Tony Khan-led company in 2021, is barely featured on AEW TV, though she regularly competes in Ring of Honor. Adora has had just one match on AEW television since January 2025.

The same can be said about current ROH World Television Champion Action Andretti, who signed with AEW in 2022. Andretti has competed just three times for All Elite Wrestling this year, with his last appearance coming at All In: London pre-show, where he teamed up with his Opps mates to battle Lio Rush and The Rascalz in an eight-man tag team match.
