Santos Escobar will have a second surgery done to fix the injury he suffered last month. As reported, the WWE star underwent surgery to fix a tricep injury that he suffered back on a January 30th NXT live event and then aggravated at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14th.

Escobar posted to his Instagram account and explained that he has to have another surgery due to his ulnar nerve and thus will be missing WrestleMania week.

“Hey familia,” he began. “This is the Emperor of lucha libre, Santos Escobar with a quick update on WrestleMania week. As you probably already know, I went through a tricep surgery. There was a minor hiccup on the road with my ulnar nerve, a neve that runs through my arm. So I’m going to have to go and do surgery again to repair that situation.”

He continued, “It kills me not to be there with you this week. But to all of my WWE family, happy WrestleMania week. Love you.”

There’s no word on when Escobar may be able to return. He previously said that he expected to be out of action for months.

On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Escobar for a quick and full recovery.
