Brock Rechsteiner says that he’s likely to end up in the family business and get into wrestling once he’s done with football. Brock is the son of Scott Steiner and cousin of Bron Breakker. He signed a WWE NIL deal back in September of last year, but is currently pursuing the NFL and signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent.

Rechsteiner spoke with WDSU in New Orleans recently and spoke about the potential of getting into the ring. You can see highlights below:

On Possibly Getting Into Wrestling:

“It all comes with the territory, and I always liked watching [his father] growing up. I love going back watching his old promos, his old wrestling videos, everything like that… It really inspired me when he got inducted to the [WWE] Hall of Fame back in Dallas, I think it’s 2022. That inspired me to — once I’m done playing football, I want to pursue football as long as I can, play as long as I can. But once I’m done, I’ll get into wrestling too.”

On His Relationship With Breakker:

“I work out with him all the time back home. I go fish with him a lot, because he moved back to Georgia. And he really convinced me to, once I’m done playing football, he’s — play football as long as I can, then once I’m done playing football, get into the wrestling business.”

On Wrestling With His Dad Growing Up:

“We wrestled all the time. We have a wrestling room in our basement. Because he was a college wrestler at Michigan too, so we have a Michigan wrestling mat in our basement. We wrestled all the time. There was a lot of fights growing up between my brother and my dad.”
