Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently provided an update on his return timeline. Seth has been away from in-ring competition since suffering a shoulder injury while performing a Coast-to-Coast headbutt during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth.

On the following RAW, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman turned on The Visionary. He has since been away from WWE TV and will likely be out of action for six months, putting his WrestleMania 42 status in jeopardy. In a recent appearance on Something’s Burning, The Visionary detailed his path to recovery. He said that he’d get the sling off his shoulder in one month and then would gradually ease into training.

“Once I get [the sling] off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while, before I lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back,” Seth said.

When asked to explain what the ramp-up time looks like, Seth said it will be gradual before he fully locks in, adding that he is hoping for a February return.

“It’ll probably be gradual. I don’t even really know. My guess is eight to 12 weeks of, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an asshole.’ Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season. I’m hoping around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Lock in. No more BS.’”

When Becky Lynch, who was also present at the show, questioned Seth Rollins’ February target, The Visionary offered a more realistic timeline, acknowledging the six-month timeline suggested by doctors.

“Probably, after the Super Bowl and stuff. Give myself a month before I come back. I don’t even know. They say six months, so this could be April.” [H/T: Fightful]

411Mania wishes Seth Rollins a speedy return to in-ring competition.
